The Dutch children waked up at 4 o’clock and then they took the plane at 8 o’clock.

They were in the plane for 2 hours and after that they took the bus with our English teacher to our school.  They arrived here around 12 o’clock and then we were greeting each other and talking about how the flight went. First we had power points.  Every time there were a group who was talking about Catalonia and the Dutch children talked about solar energy system.

After we had the power points everyone took their exchange partner to their home, to have lunch. After that we went to Sant Patrick and we met with the other people from the exchange.  We drank a little and chat for a while, while watching the soccer game.

Friday 17 of February 2012

This day was the first day with our partners of Holland. In that morning, we had to stay at 8:00 o'clock at high school, while catalan students were doing normal class, people of Holland were doing catalan lessons! At 10 a.m. more or less all the group we went to a Rubi tour, in this tour, we visited the castler of Rubi, the "Escardivol" and the town hall of Rubi, where our mayor, Carme García, come out to welcome us and then we the grup took a photo together. After that, we went to have lunch and in the evening all the boys and their respective partners played a football match. The rest of the people, majority the girls, went to take a coffe and the other girls visited Sant Cugat, a city near Rubí.

At night, the whole group we were dinner in a chinese restaurant, and then, we went to a musical bar called "New Yorker", where we had a really great time!

Sunday 19th February 2012

Sunday was the day with the family, the people splited in  different groups. In my case, we went to la Costa Brava to see the Carnival in Platja d'Aro, but the people that remain in Rubí slept for long hours because they went out on Saturday night. The thing is that they spent the majority part of the day in their houses, but in the afternoon some people went to Jana's house to sing the "sing star" they made a kind of party! At 20h the rest of the group went to watch the football match, Barça vs. Valencia; Barça won 5-1! after having a busy Saturday, That was a very relaxing day that all the group enjoyed!

Monday 20th

Monday we got up at nine and we went to the train station. At ten we took the train and we went to Barcelona. 

When we arrived to Pl. Catalunya we stared to visit the different places: Portal de l’angel, the Cathedral… and we arrived to Maremagnum. 

Here we had lunch and shopping in the clothes shops. Later we return to the train station, but this time we went for the Ramblas.

We take the train and left Barcelona. When we arrive to Rubí some of us went to St. Patrick and after that we went to home, dinner and went to sleep.

Tuesday, 21st February

On Tuesday we all went to the science museum. In the morning, we took the bus to get to the museum. When we arrived at the museum, we had a breakfast and then we went inside the museum.
There, our Dutch partner's could enjoy the visit of the museum. Unfortunately, the Catalan people had to do homework for a subject called science of the contemporary world. Later we went outside the museum and we ate our lunch. In the afternoon we visited one of the most famous places in Catalonia, a park called the Parc Güell designed by Antoni Gaudí. Later we took the train to back home.
When we arrived at home we rested and we had a short nap because at night we looking forward a big party at a club called the New Yorker.
